Maria Loizidou (ORCID: 0009-0003-9436-6360) is completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Cyprus and serves as a Special Scientist at the Center for Applied Neuroscience, within the Neurocognitive Research Lab. She holds an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from University College London (UCL) and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Surrey. Her research focuses on the cognitive and social outcomes of brain injury, with particular interest in how environmental, social and community factors influence recovery and long term well-being.
